Farm Worker (Apr-Oct) $15/hr	Farm Worker (Apr-Oct) One Positions Available, 2024 THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED If you are interested, send email to ian_hannay@ymail.com Job Description You will plant, grow, harvest, wash, and pack fruits and vegetables. You will take care of the chicken flock, picking and washing eggs. Planting will consist of starting our transplants by seed and then planting them with our transplanter. Growing will consist of weeding around the plant by either hand pulling or hoeing. Harvesting will consist of picking the fruit of vegetable by hand. We do not have any mechanical ways of harvesting, so all our harvest is done by hand. Washing consists of washing the harvested fruit of vegetable using mechanical assistance via our vegetable washer or our barrel washer and then storing the finished product in our walk-in cooler. Packing consists of packing our fruits and veggies into CSA boxes and loading them into our delivery vehicles. Chicken care includes cleaning barn, picking eggs by hand, and washing eggs using our egg washing machine. Requirements Job involves walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting throughout your shift. Lifting includes 25-pound produce boxes, and occasional 50-pound feed sacks. Work is outside in all types of weather both nice and not so nice, including sun, heat, rain and bugs. Availability Work is full time during growing season April thru October. April-Oct 8am-4pm.

Delivery Driver (Year-Round) $15/hr	Delivery Driver (May-Novemeber) One Position Available, 2024 If you are interested, send an email to ian_hannay@ymail.com Job Description You will deliver CSA boxes to member's doorsteps using our delivery vehicle. Three day work week, 4 day weekend. Perfect part-time job for a retired person who likes driving. Help pack the CSA boxes and load into mini-van. Drop off full CSA boxes, pick up empty boxes. Three day work week, Tuesday thru Thursday, 6-8 hours a day. Every week, June thru October. Every other week during May and November Drive our delivery vehicle - a Ford Windstar mini-van. Route has 30-50 stops, 100-200 miles of driving per day. Requirements Job involves packing boxes, loading boxes and delivering boxes. Boxes can weigh up to 25 pounds during peak season. Carry from delivery van to doorstep. From as far as the curb, and may involve stairs. Must have a clean driving record that satisfies our insurance company. Availability Work is May thru November, Tuesday thru Thursday, starting at 7am. Weekly June thru Oct, every other week May and November.
